Welcome to the Earth Prayers Newsletter May 2026!

First of all, we would like to thank all the people who support the Earth Prayers vision and projects month after month. We currently have around 170 people with a monthly standing order, which means we are currently reaching over 600 euros in support per project. In addition to the financial support, we also send our best wishes to each individual project and the respective areas of life.

Today, on May 2, there will be a flea market at Ava’s Cacaohaus in Weßling, Bavaria, and the proceeds will be divided among the projects of the month of May. We greatly appreciate this initiative by the wonderful Ava and, of course, warmly invite you to join us there: besides the flea market, there will be delicious cacao and music to enjoy. Events like these are not only wonderful and valuable for the individual projects, but also nourishing and strengthening for the Earth Prayers team time and again. Here is the invitation to this heartfelt event:

We would like to share words of gratitude and photos from two projects that have reached out to us in recent weeks.

First, we’ll start with the project "Small Gardens for Women" from Marmar Honey, with words from Zainav, who—with our support—is helping a group of Samburu women in Suguta Marmar to create small home gardens. A piece of land was able to be fenced, water tanks were purchased, and seeds were bought. In a next step, these women are to receive shade-providing nets and further training in working with home gardens. In the coming months, Earth Prayers will therefore be happy to support this initiative again! "I am sincerely grateful to the Earth Prayers and to you my dearest friend for your generous support towards women’s garden initiatives. Your commitment has gone beyond support,it has created real opportunities for women to grow food, improve household nutrition, and strengthen their livelihoods with dignity.

At a personal level, I deeply appreciate the encouragement and trust you have extended. Through your support, I have seen women gain confidence, work together in unity, and transform small pieces of land into sources of hope and sustainability. This impact is not just in gardens, but in lives being reshaped and communities becoming stronger.

Thank you for believing in women-led change and for walking with us in this journey of resilience, empowerment, and environmental care. Your contribution is truly making a lasting difference 🙏🙏🙏🙏Ashe oleng sotua lai (Thank you very much my friends)" Here are some photos of what has been made possible with our support:

In the Venezuelan Andes, a few months ago we supported the project by Javier and Marielba, which focuses on “native beekeeping” and reforestation with native trees, and on passing this knowledge on. They also work to raise awareness in their area about organic farming and the fact that pesticides are a problem. We also received wonderful photos, words, and a video from this project, which we would like to share with you here:

“Deepest gratitude to the entire Earth Prayers family for bringing such a wonderful and generous project to life and for supporting projects and dreams all around the world. Infinite blessings!”

With our support, 25 beehives were commissioned and built, and additional equipment for apiculture was purchased. The bee garden house was also roofed with a large plastic sheet. Here are some photos of the progress and the workshops that have already taken place at this location!

Javier and Marielba from the Venezuelan Andes also sent us this video.

In May, our funds and our wishes will benefit projects and people in Venezuela, Peru, Colombia, and Ghana. Welcome to this month’s journey!

There are four projects that we have already supported and that we would like to support again in order to reach the desired total amounts for these initiatives!

🌞 May 4–10, 2026 ~ Heart’s Wishes ~ Santuario Wellness ~ Venezuela ❤️

We would like to support Santuario Wellness in Mérida, Venezuela once again. In March, we were already able to raise 602 euros for this wonderful project, which helped fund an outdoor shower, a toilet, a sink, and part of the roof repairs for this holistic center in the Venezuelan Andes. Here are some photos of the work that was already carried out in April with our support, as well as the introductory text for this initiative in the Venezuelan Andes:

Richard Durán is following his calling and wants to open a wellness sanctuary in Mérida — a space of healing and reconciliation for the people of Venezuela. For many years, division and separation have been ever-present in Venezuela. This is where Richard wants to begin. The land, the building, and the vision are already there. Now it’s about the finishing touches so that this wellness center can open its doors.

The following is meant to take place at this location:

• Healing emotional and spiritual wounds

• Regaining inner strength

• Finding a new vision for life

• Feeling safe, accompanied, and held… reintegration to support the rebuilding and restoration of the country.

Richard also wants to make this place a branch of Earth Prayers consciousness in Venezuela! That makes us, of course, very happy. Especially in Venezuela, we as a community have already nurtured so many beautiful projects.

Richard has sent us a video here!

🌞 May 11–17, 2026 ~ Free Seeds ~ Sumak Kawsay ~ Peru ❤️

Once again, we want to support the initiative “Sumak Kawsay,” founded by Ysa Calderón. Once again, we want to promote the empowerment of Peruvian women: they are to be trained in apiculture and also in reforestation. At the same time, technical equipment is to be purchased to help determine which trees are most suitable for reforestation in support of apiculture. At the beginning of December, we were already able to send 648 euros to Peru for exactly this same purpose. Here is the project description:

We want to support Ysa Calderón again. She wants to enable 60 women in the mountains of Lambayeque to produce and sell honey from native bees with the help of a small wooden beehive and training. At the same time, with the help of a good microscope, it is to be determined which trees and plants are most important for the native bees, and exactly these are to be planted on the land of these 60 women — these guardians of the native bees.

We are very happy to support the purchase of this microscope from the bottom of our hearts! Most recently, in August 2025, we were able to support with 547 euros. This made it possible to finance a measuring device that can be used to measure the quality of the native honey. In this way, the high quality can be demonstrated and it can also be determined how long this very special, high-quality honey can be stored.

🌞 May 18–24, 2026 ~ Sustainable Agriculture ~ Bijao as an Alternative to Plastic ~ Colombia ❤️

At the beginning of May, we were already able to support this valuable project in Colombia with 621 euros. Now, in May, we want to raise the remaining amount and thus empower Jairo to put his vision into practice! Here is the project information:

There is a plant in Colombia called Bijao. It belongs to the same broader family as the banana and has large leaves. Traditionally in Colombia, the delicious “tamales” are wrapped in them. Jairo wants to win larger investors to start a Bijao project and thereby replace millions of plastic plates in Colombia. This requires technology, research, and time.

With our support, Jairo can repair his computer, which he needs to finalize the documents required to bring this project successfully to the public. With the rest of the money, he can feed his family for a month and devote himself fully to the Bijao topic. He is convinced that the concept will work and that it will be a very meaningful and groundbreaking project!

We are happy to support Jairo with all our hearts!

🌞 May 25–31, 2026 ~ Nature & Culture ~ Tilo Food Forest ~ Cacao ~ Ghana ❤️

At the beginning of April, we were already able to send 602 euros to Gambia for this project. We want to support this important initiative again in the month of May! Here is the project information:

Adime and Jasper reached out to us because they are looking for support for the wonderful Tilo Food Forest project. Adime has already planted 0.5 hectares of cacao and an edible forest. This May, the two of them want to plant another 2 hectares with trees, papayas, and cacao trees. They grow the cacao plants themselves from natural seeds. Jasper is currently staying with Adime as a volunteer helper. He is part of the FoodForestNetwork association in Berlin. In the second-largest cacao-producing country, a flagship project for organic and regenerative cacao cultivation is to be created here on Adime’s land, because the majority of cacao-growing areas are currently sprayed with numerous pesticides, which is not sustainable for the land and people in the long term.

Through the Tilo Food Forest, Adime will be able to make a sustainable living from organic, regenerative agriculture while also motivating surrounding farmers to return to natural and sustainable cultivation methods!

At the end of the newsletter, as usual, we share the figures for the month of April with you! So beautiful! With your support, we can send 621 euros to each of the projects supported in April! ❤️

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for our shared work! Warm regards, and see you next month!
