Earth Prayers Newsletter - August 2026
A warm welcome to the August 2026 newsletter! We are delighted that you are once again diving into the Earth Prayers world together with us. Here you will find refreshing and heartwarming stories and pictures. Heartfelt thanks for your interest and for our collective work!
Every week of the year, we as the Earth Prayers family nourish a project or a vision — in the most diverse places on Earth. Last month we were 174 monthly donors and were able to raise more than 680 euros for each weekly project. How wonderful! These funds will be forwarded 100 percent to the respective projects in the coming days and will nourish and strengthen them.
We are aware that our financial support is wonderful and that our goodwill — our heartfelt best wishes for the projects — is also enormously valuable. In this way we nourish these initiatives — and also the morphogenetic field of each respective theme area — week after week.
Because — as you remember — we have a seven-week Earth Prayers cycle in which the wheel turns each week to the next of the 7 theme areas. After seven weeks we arrive again at the first theme area. In each respective theme area we always choose a project, a vision that is active in exactly this field — thus we connect spirit and matter — the overall field and the concrete project.

Now let’s turn to feedback from two of the projects we have supported in recent months, before we look at this month’s weekly projects.
Jairo and Marta have sent us this thank-you greeting from Antioquia, Colombia. We supported them in developing strategies to create a plastic alternative from the Bijao plant and then offer it to companies so they can bring about major changes. We hope that Jairo’s vision will succeed and that the seeds that have been sown will meet with rain.
Joseph Ltangires Lesorogol has sent us this letter, a letter full of gratitude for the support of his studies in Nairobi, Kenya. His words delight our hearts!
Now we come to the projects of the month of August. As you know, the Earth Prayers initiative is based primarily on many people setting up a standing order — to the account of the association Samen der Solidarität — the association that brought Earth Prayers into being: with the reference: “Donation Earth Prayers - For all projects.” These donations are then distributed evenly among all the weekly projects of a month. If you donate, for example, 40 euros per month, you can divide your amount by 4.3 to find out how much of your money goes to each individual weekly project.
There is, however, also a second donation option: namely, to specifically support individual projects. This is only possible exactly in the week in which we are promoting the particular project. Then please make the transfer with the reference: “Donation Earth Prayers - Project of the week - Name of the project,” and the entire donation will go directly to the desired project.
The events in Venezuela, just like the wars in Iran, Lebanon, Palestine, Russia, Ukraine, Congo, Sudan, etc., repeatedly make us aware of how fragile human life often hangs by a very thin thread and how grateful we can be for this human life. It also repeatedly reminds us that we belong to one great human family and how important it is that we stand together and support the people who are in urgent need of our help right now.
Now let’s turn to the projects of this month.
🌞 3.–9.8.2026 ~ Holistic Health ~ Rescue Association ~ La Azulita ~ Venezuela ❤️
For 45 years this association has been active in protecting life and nature in La Azulita. It is there to save lives in the mountains, to help in the event of fires, and also in education and prevention. The difficult economic situation in Venezuela has meant that there are not sufficient funds for even the most basic equipment.
The association has approached us to get the Toyota Machito, the main emergency vehicle, back into working order: a new battery, etc. Around 1,000 euros are needed for this.

🌞 10.–16.8.2026 ~ Heartfelt Wishes ~ Music Production Andrés Navarrete ~ Mexico ❤️
Andrés Navarrete wrote to us some time ago and asked for financial support to complete his music album. Andrés comes from Mexico and writes wonderful songs that remind us of love, wisdom, and the essence of being. His songs are medicine for the soul.
Andrés now lives in Slovakia and is active on many levels. We wholeheartedly want to support him in bringing his album into the world. 1,600 euros are needed for this.
In this way, one of his heartfelt visions will manifest, and his sounds will touch even more people. Andrés has sent us this video as a greeting and also as an advance thank-you! Here you can find his YouTube channel! May his music touch many people around the world deep in their hearts!
🌞 17.–23.8.2026 ~ Free Seeds ~ Alí ~ Seed Bank and Tree Nursery ~ Venezuela ❤️
We already supported the work of Alí and his wife Manuela years ago. Now Alí has approached us because he is about to implement a new project and is asking for support.
Starting next school year, he will regularly host students and teachers from a school to pass on practical knowledge about reforestation with trees to the children.
This requires the establishment of a tree nursery, where the children will learn in a very practical way how to sow, raise, and plant trees!
We wholeheartedly want to support Alí and the schoolchildren in this wonderful vision! Here you can watch a video greeting from Alí to us!
🌞 24.–30.8. ~ Sustainable Agriculture ~ Lastin ~ Agricultural Studies ~ Kenya ❤️
Lastin is 22 years old and dreamed of continuing his studies after finishing school. Since the beginning of last year he has been attending the “Diploma in General Agriculture” course at the African Institute of Research and Development Studies in Maralal, Kenya.
However, he was unable to take any exams because he had not paid the school fees. He approached us, and last year we already began supporting him in his studies last year and for the following two years until he completes his diploma, by covering his tuition fees as well as other essential costs that arise.
Lastin lives in Samburu, where people traditionally live from livestock farming. Slowly, interest is also developing in growing and planting plants and trees. Lastin is very interested in practicing agriculture in his homeland, for his own benefit and for the benefit of society! We wholeheartedly support Lastin in furthering his education!
🌞 31.8.–6.9.2026 ~ Nature & Culture ~ Marielba & Javier Native Beekeeping ~ Venezuela ❤️
Marielba and Javier live in San Luis, in the Andes of Venezuela. They are primarily concerned with Venezuela’s native bee species and wish to pass on their well-founded knowledge to the people in their surroundings. A kind of training center for working with native, stingless bees is to be created in San Luis, starting with 40 beehives. From there, the knowledge and the beehives are to be passed on to many people in the region. We are happy to support this once again with all our hearts!
With our first wave of support of 648 euros, 25 beehives could be made, a large tarp to cover the plant-raising area as well as many professional pieces of equipment for working with bees could be purchased. In total, we want to raise 1,500 euros of support for this wonderful project in the Venezuelan Andes! Together we will make it happen!
