It is always deeply moving and heartwarming to see how our financial—and also soulful—support inspires projects in so many places around the world, strengthening and empowering visions and people.
Every project begins with an idea, with an inspiration. Then it takes creativity and courage to pick it up and manifest it step by step.
Here in the Northern Hemisphere, we are currently in that phase in which we are in stillness—and from this stillness and darkness we can slowly glimpse our seeds and visions and then carry them out into the world.
This month as well, we are nourishing a project, a person, a vision each and every week. Our financial support gives hope and strength; our best intentions that we send to the projects bring support and joy!
May the seeds of the visions of this month’s projects grow and sprout—and remind us of our own seeds and visions! Just like here in Baragoi, Samburu, where we made it possible to install two 10,000-liter tanks and the substructure, and also already contributed to the beginning of a seed bank. With the help of these water tanks, which will collect water from the roof of the Community Empowerment Center, the first trees have been planted for the past two months. I had the honor of visiting this project in Northern Kenya in December 2025. In the photo you can also see the mother of the project founder Joseph. She is the keeper of the place—a woman with a great deal of experience, wisdom, and knowledge.
🙌 We wish the people in Venezuela and Palestine, as well as all over the world, a dignified life in peace! We continue to focus on a constructive and connecting togetherness—from person to person and from heart to heart.
We wish the peoples and the people of this world self-determination, freedom, and a life in dignity! A good friend in Venezuela put it this way: "On the one hand we have a corrupt government under which we suffer greatly. On the other hand we have the USA, which supposedly wants to ‘help,’ but in reality needs our oil and wants to claim it for itself."
The situation is very complex and, although I lived in Venezuela for three years, I don’t understand it—and to be honest, I feel at a loss. 🙌
Now let’s move on to the weekly projects of January 2026!
🌞 5–11 Jan 2026 ~ The Empowered Woman ~ Empowerment for 15 women ~ Venezuela❤️
Pilar would like to implement a beautiful project in her hometown of San Cristóbal, Venezuela. The aim is to provide 15 women with training in different areas, emotional and psychological support, and to connect them with one another. They are to be encouraged to bring their strengths into the world and to form a benevolent network among themselves. In this way, small regional businesses with opportunities for human and economic networking can emerge.
These are Pilar’s words: "We want to empower 15 young women, or mothers of families, in San Cristóbal, in the district of La Concorida, and give them tools for personal growth and digital skills so that they can achieve economic independence and become part of a sustainable mutual support network."
"We want to strengthen the self-confidence and life project of 100 percent of the participants! 15 women between the ages of 15 and 65 in a difficult economic situation will be selected."
We are truly happy to support this wonderful endeavor!
🌞 12–18 Jan 2026 ~ Free Development for Children ~ Dr. Karambu ~ Meru, Kenya❤️
Dr. Karambu is a woman who has brought so much to life in her home region of Meru, Kenya. She has worked tirelessly for women suffering from poverty, violence, and HIV, and has created an orphanage, a permaculture garden, and so much more for the children of parents who are HIV positive.
Places of hope, trust, and a sense of safety have been created for many children. Dr. Karambu is a loving mother to all these children. I myself first encountered this project two and a half years ago and was deeply moved.
There are currently 83 children living in the orphanage. We would very much like to support this place of love, growth, and family cohesion: university fees and school fees must be paid, food, accommodation at the universities, toiletries, and much more.
Here you can find more information about this deeply touching project! https://ipeacei.org/our-programs/
With all our hearts, as the Earth Prayers family, we want to support Dr. Karambu’s work and these wonderful children.
🌞 19–25 Jan 2026 ~ Holistic Health ~ Youth Orchestra of Pisac~ Peru❤️
Once again, this week we want to support the Youth Orchestra of Pisac with our hearts and with our financial strength. This time it is about purchasing 3 guitars, 6 violins, and 3 keyboard stands, as well as acquiring 5 music stands, two guitars, and a keyboard. In addition, scholarships are to be set up for the violin teachers.
The Youth Orchestra of Pisac is meant to give children access to learning instruments and to enable good-quality music lessons. Scholarships are also to be offered to children from financially disadvantaged families.
We are very happy to support this youth orchestra in the Sacred Valley of the Incas!
🌞 26 Jan–1 Feb 2026 ~ Heart’s Wishes ~ Permaculture book by Bernhard Gruber & Peter Feleshi for school classes ~ Tanzania❤️
Bernhard Gruber from the Austrian Forest Garden Institute, together with translation support from his Tanzanian permaculture colleague Peter Feleshi, has written the first permaculture book in the Swahili language! It is a wonderful work that contains a great deal of knowledge and wisdom.
The goal now is to provide a school class with 40 copies of the book "Kitabu cha permaculture" (Permaculture book). This will give the class especially easy access to permaculture!
With all our hearts, we are happy to support these young people in Tanzania on their educational path—and at the same time support the Austrian Forest Garden Institute in its work!
To conclude, we are once again sharing the figures for the month of December. These financial contributions were already sent to the respective projects in the first days of January! Heartfelt thanks for our shared work!

During the Rauhnächte (the ‘twelve nights’), Stefan Schwager with Beyond Words (www.beyond-words.at) hosted a wonderful online gathering. 100 percent of the voluntary donations were sent to Earth Prayers for the projects of January 2025! So far, 2,450 euros have reached us! A big heartfelt thank-you goes to Stefan Schwager, Anita Schmid, and to all participants of this online gathering who donated for Earth Prayers! You will see these 2,450 euros added to the results for January 2026 in the February newsletter.
We wish you a wonderful, blessed start to the new year! May your heart’s wishes come true! We wish you a year full of health, abundance, joy, and wisdom!
