Earth Prayers Letter - September 2025

Welcome to the new month of September. With joy, we introduce you to this month’s projects. The journey takes us to Brazil, Venezuela, Peru, and twice to Kenya.

Every week of the year, we nurture a vision, a project, a person somewhere in the world with our collective goodwill and financial strength. In this way, we water seeds all over the earth and weave a network of connection and benevolence.

Currently, around 160 of us send a monthly donation via a standing order we set up ourselves, which is then divided equally and 100 percent among the projects of the month. At the moment, we are able to send about 550 euros into the world each week.

The projects are not chosen randomly but are selected according to the seven recurring areas of life in the Earth Prayers circle. From week to week, we move from one theme to the next.

We want to share with you today words of thanks from Corinna, the founder of the Naturkinder Waldlicht association, addressed to the Earth Prayers family. It fills us with great joy to know that we were able to contribute to the launch of this forest kindergarten! What could be more beautiful and important than children growing up feeling safe and in harmony with nature, able to unfold their full potential? Here are Corinna’s words:

"A wonderful project has been allowed to grow

Two years have now passed since the very first founding steps. In 2023, we established the Naturkinder Waldlicht association and, with the help of two donations from Earth Prayers, were able to partially cover the initial major costs and finance a tipi. After a challenging journey, we can now look back proudly on a full year of our nature kindergarten group being open, where seven children have currently found their place. With still a great deal of volunteer work from the team and board members, we look forward to the coming care year, during which we hope our group will fill more and more with children and we can solidify a stable foundation for our nature kindergarten. Many thanks to the Earth Prayers team and all the donors for making our start so much easier from a financial perspective.

After these joyful pictures and words, we now turn to this month’s weekly projects:

🌞 September 1–7, 2025 ~ Heart’s Desires ~ Carlos - Juggling Equipment for Children ~ Brazil ❤️

We have already supported Carlos and his partner once in their work: teaching juggling and acrobatics to children and youth in difficult economic circumstances in northern Brazil. With our support, juggling balls, juggling clubs, soccer balls, and clown noses were purchased!

Access to art and juggling should be made possible for children who would otherwise be completely cut off from such opportunities.

This time, it’s about raising money for a sound system, changing cabins, a curtain, and a small stage so that the performances at the end of the acrobatics and juggling courses can be designed more professionally and motivationally. We support this with all our hearts!

🌞 September 8–14, 2025 ~ Free Seeds ~ Andrea and Jhoan - Development and Own Home ~ Venezuela ❤️

Andrea and Jhoan live with their two little ones (1 and 9 years old) in La Azulita, Venezuela. They lead a very independent, nature-connected life. They grow much of their own food, have green thumbs, and skillfully propagate native, regional seeds. Jhoan and Andrea also run an organic bakery.

We now want to wholeheartedly support this family a second and final time, at least part of the way, in purchasing the house they are currently renting. In total, 5,000 euros are needed. They will make it happen step by step with their work and the help of the universe. In this case, we are part of that universe and are giving wings to this dream!

🌞 September 15–21, 2025 ~ Sustainable Agriculture ~ Vuka Daraja na Jirani ~ School Education, Agriculture, Elderly People ~ Kenya ❤️

Once again this week, we dedicate our financial strength and goodwill to William, his wife Ari, and the truly wonderful work these two people do in the north of Samburu Province, Kenya.

Through their association Vuka Daraja na Jirani (“Cross the Bridge with Your Neighbor”), they advocate for children to attend school and receive a meal during difficult times. William is also deeply engaged in agriculture; it is close to his heart that the children’s parents grow vegetables so they can provide for themselves. A third focus is the elderly, for whom William and Ari also care.

We also support the couple in sending their own children to school and building a small grocery shop at their home. We are repeatedly touched by the dedication and love William and Ari pour into their work and support them with all our hearts.

🌞 September 22–28, 2025 ~ Nature & Culture ~ Film Production about Peruvian Healer - Basilio y el mar ~ Peru ❤️

The producer of the film "Basilio y el mar," Roger Neira, reached out to us to ask for support for this project. It is a major project about the life of a shaman in the Andes of Peru.

It is so beautiful when the wisdom of various peoples and individuals is appreciated and documented, as is the case with this film project. We, as the Earth Prayers family, support it with all our hearts.

🌞 September 29–October 5, 2025 ~ The Empowered Woman ~ Lmartin People Association - School Equipment and Sanitary Pads ~ Kenya ❤️

We have already supported the Lmartin People Association several times in their work. Once again this week, it’s about providing school equipment to schoolchildren in a very remote region of Samburu, Kenya. At the same time, Justinah, co-founder of the Lmartin People Association, wants to supply the girls at this school with sanitary pads.

From her own experience, she knows what it’s like when menstruation is taboo and how many girls are too ashamed to go to school. It is important to her to give these girls a sense of security and being understood.

We wholeheartedly support this initiative in northern Kenya once again.
